Hi everyone. I recently realised that I’m losing a full days earnings a month just in fees for taking card payments 😢. I dont expect people to go to a cash machine, but if you have any lying around please consider using it on little old me 🙏🏼. I’ve only ever put my prices up once since 2009 and it’s not something I want to do. Even just a few extra people a day bringing cash will help take the pressure off. Thank you for reading 😍

Half way through my day and I’ve had 2 cancellations, 2 very late cancellations and 2 no shows. This adds up to 3 hours and it’s not even 2pm. Thats 3 hours I could have spent with my son who didn’t want his mum to leave him this morning because of his illness.

Answers on a postcard please - what do I do next? I’m losing time, income and patience at this point 🙈🙈

Just a polite request please but can people stop booking patch tests if they have zero intention of turning up! I feel like I’m saying the same thing constantly, if you book it, let us know if you’re not coming. It can’t be that difficult surely. Please just have a shred of respect, especially in light of what’s happening with my son’s health atm

Elements is officially closed!!!!! I just need to thank everyone for supporting my business for another year, especially in this last week. I couldn’t have got through Mac’s illness without you all. My work phone will be going off until Saturday 3rd Jan so we can adjust to our new way of living. Wishing you all a gentle and merry Christmas, love Katie & Mac xx

As you know my son nearly died last week after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and being abandoned by the GP and 111 despite all of the symptoms pointing to this condition. Today is the last day it can be signed before going off to Parliament. Please sign it for Macca and every other child. A 5 second finger prick test can literally save lives. Thank you xx

Mac is home!!!! Mentally and physically scarred but he’s alive and adjusting to a new way of life. Type 1 diabetes was not on our 2025 bingo card and not to be messed with.

I am hoping to return on Friday. I’ll be slowly contacting everyone I cancelled so keep an eye out tomorrow. A huge thank you to everyone who sent well wishes and understood the situation. I’m slightly traumatised so be gentle with me haha. Thanks again everyone love me and Macca xx

Just a quick update. Mac is no longer classed as critical but needs to stay in hospital for a little while we plan our next move. I may have to cancel Wednesday but I’ll be in touch personally tomorrow. I’m hoping the rest of the week can go ahead if he improves but this may change. Again thank you so much for the love and messages. I promise I WILL get back to everyone when I can ❤️❤️

Hi everyone. As some of you are aware my son is very poorly in hospital at the moment. I’ve cancelled tomorrow’s patients and will be in touch about the rest of the week if needed. I don’t know when I’ll be able to rebook everyone in but please be assured I’ll be in touch as soon as I know what’s happening.
