We are looking to add
1 X FULL TIME
1 X PART-TIME (3 days a week)
funeral operatives to our family run business.

Duties include but are not limited to:
* Chauffeur driving our hearse or limousine
* Bearing coffins on funerals
* Day to day funeral duties such as valeting our vehicles to a high standard
* Bringing deceased into our care
* Being on our out of hours on call rota

You must have a clean UK driving licence, a sympathetic nature and a smart appearance. Good level of physical fitness, as the role does involve heavy lifting.
Uniform and training will be provided.
Salary £22,000 - £24,000 per annum.

Wow! An amazing amount of money was raised last year via the tribute pages we set up through Much Loved.
This is up a staggering £23,000 from last year, which, in a cost of living crisis is incredible and so generous.
Thank you to everyone who donated in memory of a loved one in 2023. This will go a long way to helping charities continue their essential work.

What better tribute is there to a former bus driver, than for his family and friends to travel with him on his final journey on a bus that he used to drive. We always love seeing these personal details and are grateful to his family for allowing us to share images.

Back in April, our funeral arranger, Vicki, donated her wedding dress to Cherished Gowns UK, which is a charity that will use the gown to make outfits for babies that are stillborn or lost too soon during pregnancy. Most commercially available baby clothes will never fit these little angels.
She has now received these amazing photographs of what has been made from it.
4 tiny gowns
4 small gowns.
3 medium gowns
5 large gowns
2 extra large gowns
3 wraps
18 micro wraps
Nappies: 9 small, 5 medium & 5 large.
These will now be dispatched to hospitals and funeral directors like ourselves in the hope that in some small way they bring comfort to multiple families at the worst possible time.

We have received some beautiful thank you cards this week, along with some lovely emails. We are so grateful that our wonderful families take the time to do this for us when they are going through such a difficult time. It means so much and we never take it for granted.

What a difference a few weeks makes! Yesterday the finishing touches were made to the renovation of the reception area of our Worcester Park branch and we couldn't be happier with the results. It's a project we've been wanting to do for some time in order to modernise and open up the space.
Many thanks to our clients who have been so understanding about the temporary disruption. We really appreciate it.

A small insight into what it takes to keep our fleet valeted to the highest possible standards. This is not just limited to our hearse and limousines, but for all of our funeral vehicles.
This was David and Tom cleaning our removal vehicle this morning. Tom's finally got his legs out for summer and David would be lost without his little pink stool! Good work guys!
