PERI ORBITAL REJUVENATION ✨

Love how this simple and effective treatment can have such an impact on the whole eye area.

My patient presented to me with lines around her eyes and wanted to soften the appearance of these when smiling.

We treated the area with Botulinum Toxin to relax the muscle activity but keeping in mind the importance of retaining some movement to allow smiling with the eyes ☺️

At the two week follow up appointment I loved highlighting all the other ‘bonus’ improvements achieved.

Note how the eyes appear more open and rejuvenated after treatment.
The outer parts of the eyebrows are lifted and my favourite part to demonstrate with before and after photos is how the skin of the upper eyelids doesn’t collapse or become heavy on smiling.

This treatment will prevent these smile lines from becoming more deep set as changes in the skin occur with increasing age.

AMEELA POLYNUCLEOTIDES 🧬

Ameela is a sterile injectable gel made of ‘polynucleotides’ derived from wild salmon which have been processed and formulated in a way to have 3 main affects on the skin.

DEEP MOISTURISING EFFECT:
Ameela has a strong moisturising capacity that can be traced back to the polynucleotides’ ability to bind water molecules at the cellular level. The hydration retention effect of Ameela allows the skin to remain moisturised for longer periods of time.

BIOSTIMULATING EFFECT:
Ameela’s polynucleotides are also designed to activate specific membrane receptors in fibroblasts, leading to increased collagen production which improves skin elasticity. These polynucleotides are also involved in augmenting the myofibroblasts in the skin which provides a strong skin lifting effect.

ANTIOXIDANT EFFECT:
Ameela also acts as a radical scavenger by eliminating the occurrence of free radicals in the skin. Its strong antioxidant effects protect collagen fibres and the skin’s protective layers from being damaged.

Usually, 2 treatment sessions recommended, 2-4 weeks apart. Can have up to 4 sessions.
