This photo was taken 20 years ago when my daughter was only a few days old. Just me and my tiny girl, curled up together in that first haze of motherhood. I remember being so tired, so in awe, and so full of love I thought my heart might burst. 💖

Today, she turns 20 years old and somehow those long nights and endless feeds turned into years filled with laughter, learning, and growing alongside her. She has taught me more about love, resilience, and what really matters in life than I could ever have imagined back then.

Now, two decades later, I have the privilege of walking alongside other mums and their babies in those very first, tender days. I know how overwhelming and beautiful it can feel all at once — and I am always honoured to hold space for mothers as they find their way. ✨

Today I treated 3 gorgeous girls who all have retained reflexes and sensory processing issues. Their mum told me she went to the GP for help but was told it was just autism or adhd and typical stimming behaviour and there was nothing she could do. It is crazy how many doctors have absolutely no clue what retained reflexes are and what simple exercises can be done at home in order to integrate them.

Because of the number of clients that myself and see in our practice on a daily basis we bave decided to call our next parent webinar “an introduction to retained reflexes and sensory overload”

From the very first day to the last - my daughter Daisy’s final day at and end of school forever! To say I am feeling a bit emosh is an understatement. One minute you’re wiping sticky fingers, wrestling with French braids (sorry Daisy Dowling I never got them right!) and scrambling for book bags and then suddenly it’s all done!

I’ve been told I mustn’t ‘be embarrassing’ or ‘ugly cry’ at the end of year show tonight. Can’t promise that. Pass the tissues! 😅

Dear Miki and Kate,

I would just like to share my recent experience working with a non verbal autistic child, Ted, who is 4 1/2. Sharing your expertise on the course has been invaluable to me. I have followed your protocols and we are getting amazing results!

Ted had developed normally until 18 months old when he was vaccine damaged. He hadn't spoken since and was diagnosed as autistic recently.

After Ted's first session, his parents reported notable behavioural changes and quite a bit of regressing. I had prepared an aftercare sheet as you recommended so that really helped them understand what to look out for and what to expect (the unexpected!). By day 4 after the first session the parents got a phone call from school to say Ted was making new sounds and using new mouth movements. By day 6 after the treatment, Ted had said 3 words in context!

When I went to see him again a week later (in his home as you recommended) his eye contact was incredible, he really noticed I was there and I even got 2 kisses and a high five! He was more hyper- as a 4 year old boy would tend to be- but once settled, he actually placed my hands on his body where he needed them to be and it actually felt like he was going through the birthing process. After the session the parents reported that he'd clapped ×5 on instruction- something he'd never done before!
I have the 3rd of 6 weekly sessions next week and so who knows what else he'll be able to achieve!

I wanted to share because without attending your course, I wouldn't have had the confidence to trust the process, nor be able to instil that in the parents, and for that I am so grateful- THANK YOU💖💖!
