Thought I’d share these VERY common thoughts that we all have as clients when we are enjoying a facial.

Remember YOU are the client and it’s YOUR time! Every visit should be a wonderful experience!
•
So DON’T feel guilty! You have earned this time to yourself! Speak up if you need a p*e (😄) or if you are too hot, too cold, need you phone on incase of emergency (it’s fine!) want me to blow out the candle as it’s getting up your nose, turn the lights lower, turn the music down/up, change the playlist! (you get the idea!)

Season change!
•
I LOVE Autumn (I prefer summer 😏) but it often means a change in how our skin behaves.
•
Lack of UVB light not only kicks in those ‘S.A.D’ feelings but also slows down cell turnover which can lead to breakout, blockages and generally ‘confused’ skins.
•
There are a few things we can do to beat this…
•
1) Ramp up your exfoliation by either increasing the frequency you exfoliate or upgrading the strength or type of exfoliation. I love the AHA serum which can be used at night (start with one evening a week) after cleansing.
•
2) Increase your water hydration levels in 3 ways… drink plenty, take a really good skin omega supplement (I love Skin Omega Plus) and use the very best Hyaluronic acid serum you can get your hands on. I love Hydrating serum or AlumierMD Ultimate boost serum.

This is a service which started during the “covid years” but remains a wonderful option, especially if you can’t get in for treatments as frequently as you would like.
