Homeopathic and herbal remedies for lungs this winter as many have awful coughs or sore lungs of late.

Homeopathic & Herbal Remedies for Colds, Coughs and Mild Respiratory Irritation 😷🥶🤧

Aconitum napellus
Used at the very beginning of a cold, especially after exposure to cold wind. Sudden onset, restlessness.

Bryonia alba
Dry, painful coughs that worsen with movement. Dry chest, thirst for large amounts of water.

Belladonna
Sudden feverish colds with heat, redness, or throbbing sensations.

Pulsatilla
Colds with thick yellow/green mucus, changing symptoms, better in fresh air.

Hepar sulphuris (Homeopathic antibiotic)
Very sensitive throat or cough, worse in cold air.
Antimonium tartaricum
Wet, rattling coughs with difficult mucus.

Arsenicum album
Colds with anxiety, burning sensations, restlessness, worse at night.

Most people use a 30c but can also be used in a 6c more frequently.

Herbs

Mullein - I like the Indian mullein when I need that extra purge.
Soothes irritated lungs, helps dry and wet coughs, mild expectorant.

Thyme
Antimicrobial, antiviral, helps clear mucus; useful as tea or steam.

Eucalyptus
Opens airways, strong decongestant. I like as an essential oil mixed with lemon grass.

Peppermint
Opens airways, relieves sinus congestion.

Marshmallow Root
Coats and soothes throat and lungs; excellent for dry coughs.

Ginger
Warming, anti-inflammatory, helps congestion and chest tightness.

Elecampane
Strong expectorant for stuck lung mucus.

I like being weird, I get to meet other weirdos and have spent the last few weeks talking to lots of fun and quirky ones. Writers, artists, cunning folk, actors, musicians, diviners, and more. Many of them went through the mill to get to where they are today. They never stopped and even in face of adversity, they kept going. When they reached the bottom of the barrel with nowhere to turn, the only option left was to leave their dreams behind or keep on creating. So they created. One thing they all have in common, when they make peace with, or fall into the fear, is a feeling of an energetic wave described as a creative energy surge when they are in mid flow. An energy of inspiration that brings their ideas to life, an energy without words. Now they now reaping wonderful rewards because they are pioneers and visionaries shaping the future in the now. Many of these fine souls are friends with the wind, say hi to the sun, they speak to the water and ground on the earth. They see animals, trees, and rocks as kin. These wonderful souls are in an aligned relationship with nature. If you’re feeling stuck, disheartened or blocked in anyway, message of today, is to stay weird, spend some time in nature and keep going. You got this. 💫⭐️
