Here’s what Clematis old man's beard (scientific name Clematis vitalba, also called Traveller's Joy) looks like when in bloom. It’s a vigorous, native woody climbing plant known for its fluffy, white, feathery seed heads that appear in late summer and autumn, resembling an old man's beard, and its clusters of creamy-white flowers earlier in the season.

It's a common wildflower in the UK, often found scrambling over hedges and trees, providing valuable habitat and food for pollinators and birds. A useful Bach remedy this time of year.

The goal of the Clematis remedy is to help a person become more grounded and connected to reality, fostering a lively interest in daily tasks and the ability to turn dreams into action.

Individuals needing Clematis often appear dreamy, drowsy, inattentive, and absent-minded. They may daydream excessively about the future or past, have poor concentration and memory, and can seem ungrounded or accident-prone.

As I said in my previous video, my personal experience during a really flighty ungrounded period is that it brought me a lot of grounding and focus. One of Dr Bach’s original 38 remedies, each aimed at a specific emotional or mental state. So much of what ails us physically is down to an emotional state that needs recognising and addressing. Nature’s creations can assist us on our journey.

Happy New Year to all! May this year be truly the best yet. May all experiences of 2025 be transformed into deeper greater diamonds of 2026. Our inner journey is truly the most important one of all, a place of introspection, connection and reflection on all we’ve learned.

In this transitional time one can find comfort in nature whether it be through deep restorative teas, tinctures and nature walks to still in the silence and deepen into the body’s wisdom. Today I happened upon Clematis on my South Downs new years country walk. Clematis Bach remedy essence also found in rescue remedy is great use right now for helping focusing on the present and future, preventing daydreaming or feeling disconnected.

Love to all.

Happy Winter solstice 2025 today to all! Marking the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere today. From here on the Light returns…. deep in this winter time we release, rest and replenish ourselves. Reflecting on what matters, what do we want to manifest for the year ahead? Our relationships and the new phase of our life and New Year ahead. Take some time tonight to self-care and say a little prayer for yourself and your loved ones during our longest night of the year.

Much love,
Patricia. x

It’s been an epic year for all, Christmas is round the corner, and what should be a time for deep rest and hibernation during the winter solstice for many is still a very stressful time. EFT tapping is one of those tools one can pull out the bag anywhere, anytime to support one’s nervous system and get ontop of those emotions that affect our bodies. I have an easy to learn and accessible short course via my website on how to use this method for everyday life. Perhaps a friend or family member would appreciate this resource as a wellbeing gift.

Don’t suffer in silence , get tooled up to relieve the pressure and support your transitions in life.

Much love and festive wellbeing to you all.
