I am so grateful to this wonderful group who joined me last week for my second Spanish yoga retreat .

In just over 5 weeks, on 16th June, I will joining the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2024 and fundraising for Mind.

I do enjoy riding my bike, but I’m definitely not a cyclist, being afraid of traffic and big roads I have only stuck to short journeys to and fro, with my basket on the front full of shopping or my mat on the back heading to a yoga class. So this ride is actually going to be a real challenge for me. I have been a little further field in the past weeks, attempted a few hills (horrible) and invested in a new bike (the old one of 20 years was sadly not up to the task). So I am moving closer, with some trepidation towards the ride!

My friend Tina, whom I will be riding with, decided we wanted to fundraise for Mind. Their tireless work is invaluable, in helping those in times of need and relentless campaigning for much needed improvements to our mental health system. I am pleased to be able to fundraise for this incredible worthwhile and value charity

Love ❤️ my afternoon’s of botanical art with the fabulous Marcia Hughes .
I found this alstroemeria very tricky and ended up going for a side view as I couldn’t get the perspective right. Maybe next time.
