“The longest journey of any person is the journey inward.”

This is the essence of yoga. It is so much more than the poses (asanas); it is a deeper practice, a journey, a way of being in the world.

Yoga is the moment:
🌬️ The breath that steadies you off the mat, offering a pause before you react.
💖 The compassion you extend to yourself when things are challenging, and the compassion you then offer to others.

Ultimately, it’s the practice of noticing, of listening, and of coming home to yourself.

These grounding poses can help you navigate challenges with greater ease:

• Standing/ Seated Forward Fold (Uttanasana/ Upavistha Konasana): Feel the release of tension in your neck, shoulders, and back, and calm your mind.

• Tree (Vrksasana), Benefits: Builds focus and balance,
The pose promotes mindful breathing and grounding, which can help reduce stress and anxiety.
Confidence Boost: Successfully holding the pose can boost confidence and self-esteem

• Legs Up the Wall (Viparita Karani): to Unwind and let go of stress and anxiety with this deeply relaxing pose.

• Child’s Pose (Balasana): benefits: Gently quiet your mind and relieve tension in your back, shoulders, and neck.

Since 1998, my practice has been about more than poses-it's about cultivating emotional strength.
In my classes, I offer a warm, compassionate space where we use breath and movement to learn how to respond to life, not react to it. Let's find that deep inner calm together.
