As mental health concerns continue to rise in our society alongside the increasing cost-of-living, access to counselling is often regarded as a luxury rather than a necessity. We believe mental health support should be accessible to all, easily accessible at the point of need. At Kingston Women's Centre, we provide a safe, non-judgemental and caring environment where women can begin to build emotional resilience and regain a sense of control over their lives.

If you are struggling with financial hardship or know someone who is and who would greatly benefit from counselling support, then please get in touch or forward to them. We will add you to our waiting list to receive counselling for up to 12 weeks as soon as funding is granted. Email: Hardship Fund to kwcenquiries@kingstonwomencentre.org.uk

12th to 18th May 2025 is Mental Health Awareness Week. This year the theme is community. Celebrating the power and importance of community, who can help make all the difference.

So 'be gentle with your mind' and recognise when we may need some support. Be it from the community around you or by involving a professional. Talking things through in a compassionate and safe space can really help.

We would also like to celebrate our community of incredible counsellors and clinical team who are dedicated to support the community of women we serve at Kingston Women's Centre. With them we can help make the world a better place, one person at a time.
