On offer are:

- classes for adults in Russian and English
- yoga themed birthday parties
- weekend yoga and well-being family workshops Yogiki (“Yo-gi-ki” or “Yo-zhee-kee” which in Russian also means “little hedgehogs”) is children’s yoga club that runs weekly classes at Lazuli Studio in North Kingston and offers family weekend works
hops and yoga theme birthday parties at various other locations. Kids’ yoga is fun, creative and non-competitive and the use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. My mission is to promote the magic of kids’ yoga to parents and their children in a way of playful, mindfully interactive, educational and entertaining lessons. The classes are designed with 2-4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13-16 year olds in mind and are intentionally small (up to 8 little yogis at a time) to create warm, nourishing and encouraging environment in which children will receive all care and safe space to discover the joys of yoga. They last 30-45-60min depending on the age and include playing fun yoga games, storytelling, dancing, listening to music, singing yogi rhymes and songs, doing yoga-related art and practicing breathing techniques, gentle meditation and relaxation. In other words we practice yoga – a union of the mind, body, and spirit – in a really fun and engaging way, the way children understand and accept with pleasure. I encourage my little yogiki to learn about their bodies and minds through yoga, to discover space through play and inner peace and stress-relieving tools through relaxation in stillness and to foster new warm friendships growing from cooperative and supportive play powered by their imagination. We move, we pause, we sing and most importantly we enjoy ourselves having lots of fun! It inspires me to see these kids’ eyes sparkle and witness their sincere wiliness to discover new things, experiment with new ideas and create healthy habits. I am also delighted to teach private family classes from the comfort of your home and/or bring a practice as a part of your kids’ birthday party to give them and their little guests a taste of how yoga could enhance their health, happiness and learning potential. Together with a nutritionist colleague I run monthly parents and kids weekend workshops on the subject (and practice) of yoga and healthy living. Please enquire by sending me an email, text or PM
