We are an award-winning medical gaming platform for children with neurological limitations affecting motor functions.

What is Therapy Reloaded? Therapy Reloaded combines performing a physical activity within the context of playing video games. These games provide a fun and motivational platform for patients with motor impairment, whilst delivering therapeutic benefits under the supervision of healthcare professionals. The gaming solutions utilise balance boards as the player interface to encourage the appropriate

physical activity in the context of gameplay. This solution has been initially targeted at young people with Cerebral Palsy; however, research shows that these methods can be applied to other forms of neurological disorders and health conditions.

We are delighted to announce that our co-director and lead software developer Gordon Johnson, a valued member of our team, has successfully passed their PhD viva! This remarkable achievement reflects not only their dedication and expertise but also our commitment to fostering innovation and supporting professional development within our organisation.

Gordon’s research, focused on Autism and the recognition of expressions for autistic individuals, aligns closely with our mission to provide enablement for this group of people who have a wide range of disabilities and neurological conditions.

We are incredibly proud of this milestone and look forward to seeing how their insights and contributions will continue to shape our work and industry.

🌟 Exciting Recent Visit to Thessaloniki 🌟

Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to visit one of the biggest neurological limitations centres in Europe to demonstrate our Mixed Reality games designed to promote health and wellness for individuals with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Hemiplegia inclusive of Stroke.

We make therapy fun and enjoyable as physiotherapy can be repetitive and tedious, our ethos at Ubitech Limited and Therapy Reloaded is to help the aforementioned individuals with these conditions improve their motor control and mobility in unison.

It was amazing to see the smiles and enthusiasm from the medical staff at AHEPA Thessaloniki University General Hospital. 🧩🏃‍♂

Finally, a huge thank you to the wonderful doctors and nurses for welcoming us and participating with such energy and positivity. Your dedication to patient care is truly inspiring! 🙌💙

On 7-9 August, our directors - Gordon Johnson and Arslan Usman presented at the prestigious 12th International IEEE Conference on Serious Games and Applications for Health (SEGAH) in the beautiful city of Funchal in Madeira, Portugal. 🌎

We had a valuable opportunity to present our work on Exergaming and Electromyography (EMG) for Rehabilitation titled: "Therapy Reloaded: Temporal Neural Network-Based Platform for Processing Muscle Activity Measurement in Electromyography-Games". Therapy Reloaded is our medical gaming platform for neurological limitations affecting motor functions such as Cerebral Palsy, Hemiplegia and Stroke - just to name a few applicable conditions which our platform is helpful in the rehabilitation environment.

Special thanks to our co-authors Aqib Mirza, Natalie Sharp, Chris Smith, Jaroslaw Francik, Christos Bakirtzis, Chris Politis, and Nikolas Grigoriadis.

Also, a heartfelt thank you and well done to the organisers of SeGAH, this event was memorable. While also being a great opportunity to network with other individuals at the conference in Madeira.

Therapy Reloaded in action:

Our platform is currently being trialled at Children's Physio North West in Stockport by our aforementioned field trial partner. You can see the amazing work they have done by interacting with Therapy Reloaded's diverse suite of games and its associated specialised Electromyography (EMG) applications such as Fortune Seeker, Galaxy Fighter Flex and Tidal Treasures.

Also a heartfelt thank you and appreciation to Nikki who has helped us to conduct the trials with individuals with disabilities to enjoy accessible gaming so far. 😍

We were thrilled to see such amazing feedback for our product! The user loved trying out the device by Therapy Reloaded. As a gaming enthusiast, he quickly grasped the concept, had great hand movements, and stayed focused for a long time. His favourite was the hammer game, smashing animals, with its bright and colourful design perfect for younger kids! 🎮✨

Thank you to everyone who attended the Engineering, Computing and Environment (ECE) postgraduate conference. We hope you all had an opportunity to immerse yourselves into our platform Therapy Reloaded at the event where we demonstrated our Mixed Reality, EMG and Balance Board games that are part of our of the diverse range of games for individuals with neurological disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Hemiplegia and Stroke to name just a few conditions which our platform can benefit to help improve their ability to manage their muscles more effectively.

A special thank you to the faculty and the committee of the conference for organising the event. Furthermore, well done again to all the winners on the day for their respective awards and accolades.

Out of 11 other posters, ours received second place.

On Friday 28th June we will be at the Kingston University's Engineering, Computing and Environment (ECE) Postgraduate Conference showcasing our state of the art Mixed Reality, EMG and Balance Board video games for Rehabilitation.

Therapy Reloaded is our suite of next generation video games designed for Rehabilitation for individuals with neurodisabilities applicable to conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Hemiplegia, Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis.

Thank you everyone for immersing yourselves into our diverse range of games including our state-of-the-art Mixed Reality, EMG and Balance Board Games and attending our stand at BABICM this year.

It was amazing to see so many people attend our booth and to try out our game suite. We would like to share our appreciation with all the attendees for making it such a successful event.
