Back to reality after an unforgettable week in France with the Ben Healy Fan Club 🇫🇷🚴‍♂️. We followed the first three stages of the Tour de France, soaking up the atmosphere, the sunshine, and some incredible racing. The absolute highlight — seeing young Ben power to victory on Thursday’s stage! What a ride, what a talent 👏💚. Here’s to many more wins ahead. Allez Ben! ”

Last Wednesday, we had the absolute pleasure of delivering Matthew’s brand new wheels at the café! 💙✨

A huge thank you to all the fantastic volunteers who make the café such a special place. The sense of community and kindness there is like no other, and it’s always a joy to be part of it.

We’d also like to thank all the café friends and generous people who donate items for the bargain tables — your support really does make a difference. If you haven’t already, be sure to pop by! The café runs every Monday and Wednesday, with tabletop sales and discos throughout the year — a brilliant way to grab a bargain and support a wonderful cause.

It was a pleasure to provide Matthew with a wheelchair designed not just for now, but with the ability to adjust and grow with him over the years. At Taylor Made Wheelchairs, we’re proud to offer solutions tailored to every individual, ensuring long-term comfort, support, and independence.

A special thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome — and it was lovely to introduce our son Charlie to the café family too!

What an awesome day we had yesterday at Sunrise Medical’s launch event! 🚀✨ We had the chance to get hands-on with just a few of their fantastic products — the XT4 Powered Wheelchair 👌🏼, the Scoozy Scooter 👌🏼, the Empulse R90, and the Empulse M90.

We even put the XT4 and Scoozy through their paces on some off-road terrain… and let’s just say, they did not disappoint!

One word to sum up the day? AWESOME! 🙌🏼

A Day Out with Charlie”

This young man right here is Charlie Taylor — our eldest son and a bit of a legend in the making. He’s been out with his Dad today, earning himself a bit of travel money for his next big adventure.

But it wasn’t just about the work. It was about those little moments in between. Passing down the essential knowledge every young man needs: where to find the best sarnies, which chippy does the crispiest chips, and which café makes a cuppa just the way you like it.

And along the way, he probably picked up a thing or two about wheelchairs too — life skills come in all shapes and sizes after all 🥰🥰
