How did I know?
I’m now 55 and I’ve been post menopausal for a few years. But my menopausal symptoms were quite mild compared to some ladies I support. My migraines increased in severity and frequency which were awful 😞. But it was my 🧠 fog that made me think “ This is part of the menopause”. I was 49 and remember how my brain just wasn’t working as it did….Embarrassing was an understatement!
As soon as I recognised this I booked a GP appointment and “steered” my GP to the “Drug Bible” to prescribe me HRT. And how did I know it helped me?
About 6 weeks later my dad asked me about a place I visited in the Isle of Man 🇮🇲. After a few seconds I recalled the name (the island has many Manx and Gaelic names) and I remembered it!!!!!
