Important update for our patients 📢

From 1 April, due to the new GP contract we introduced a new triage system for all appointment requests.

When you contact the surgery, our team will ask for brief details about your problem so that a clinician can review your request and make sure you receive the right care, at the right time.

This may include:
• Same-day care for urgent problems
• A routine appointment
• Advice by phone or message
• Referral to another appropriate service

This change will help us prioritise urgent cases and improve access for all patients.

All information shared with our team is treated confidentially.

Follow these simple steps:

2️⃣ Go to Homepage or Your Health
3️⃣ Tap View and manage prescriptions
4️⃣ Select Your chosen pharmacy
5️⃣ Tap Change your chosen pharmacy
6️⃣ Pick your new pharmacy and confirm

⚠️ Note: any outstanding prescriptions may still arrive at your current pharmacy.

When you find out you are pregnant, you can refer yourself for NHS pregnancy care so you start care with a midwife right away.

Once you sign up online, the maternity team will contact you to book your first appointment with a midwife.

You should do this by the 10th week of pregnancy, if possible, but it’s never too late to start. If you're over 10 weeks, refer yourself as soon as you can.
