For 26 years, SiLS has been shaped by one simple belief: people should be supported to live independently, on their own terms.

What began in 2000 as a response to two people wanting homes of their own grew into a community‑led approach to independent living built around listening, respect and practical support when it’s needed most.

Step into our Listening Hub and be welcomed by trained volunteers who are here to give their time and support, for you, a friend, family member, or colleague who might be struggling with their mental health.

You’re welcome to just walk in, but we recommend booking an appointment to make sure the hub isn’t busy and you can be seen straight away.
