At Caring Comes 1st, we want to recognise the incredible strength and courage shown by the Adams brothers following their recent London Marathon challenge in memory of their mum, Geraldine, who sadly passed away from Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).
Their determination to raise awareness of FTD — a condition that affects not only memory, but personality, behaviour, communication, and entire families — has touched so many people across the country.
By sharing their story so openly, they are helping shine a light on a form of dementia that is still far too misunderstood.
As a care company, we see every day how dementia impacts individuals and the people who love them. Awareness matters. Compassion matters. Research matters.
We applaud Jordan and Cian for turning personal heartbreak into powerful advocacy and for helping important conversations around dementia reach more families.
