A very happy 91st birthday to Kathleen.

Kathleen celebrated her special day at Kington Court with a beautiful cake made by our talented chef, which was enjoyed by all. It was lovely to see her family visit throughout the day, spending quality time together and making the occasion even more meaningful.

Celebration of Spring at Kington Court.

We had a fantastic day bringing together residents, families and friends for our Celebration of Spring.

The Small Breed Farm was a real highlight, with everyone enjoying the chance to hold and feed the animals. Alongside this, there was plenty of fun with raffles, games, and of course lots of delicious homemade cakes.

A huge thank you to our team, including Libby and Dora, and to our resident who kindly created beautiful hand-knitted items for the day.

We’re delighted to have raised £114 for The Open Arms Kington.

A day full of smiles, laughter and lovely memories.

A wonderful craft afternoon at Kington Court!

Our residents spent time creating a beautiful friendship tree and colourful 3D pictures, enjoying not only the creativity of crafting but also the opportunity to share thoughts, stories, and laughter together.

While making the 3D pictures, one resident suggested, “We should write on the labels things we like,” and each word added reflects something shared by the individuals taking part — making every creation uniquely personal and full of meaning.

A lovely afternoon of creativity, connection, and friendship.

Every other month, all Rotherwood homes come together for our group-wide Wellness Isometric Training session – and this one had a lovely Easter twist.

Led by our Wellness Coach and Programme Lead, Jack, residents and staff across our homes joined in at the same time for a fun and engaging session, including gentle exercises and Easter-themed quiz questions.

After the session, everyone enjoyed homemade smoothies, fresh fruit, and juices – the perfect way to finish a feel-good morning.

At Kington Court, we’ve been celebrating Easter with lots of thoughtful touches and creativity.

Our talented residents have been busy making beautiful decorations, proudly displayed around the home for everyone to enjoy.

To make the celebrations even more special, every resident received a lovely handmade gift, carefully prepared by our Activity Coordinator using handkerchiefs, chocolate bunnies, and mini eggs.

Because at Kington Court, we believe that no matter your age, everyone deserves an Easter treat. The smiles and gratitude from our residents have been truly heartwarming.

To mark the occasion, we shared a little Easter cheer by gifting all of our wonderful staff an Easter egg along with a heartfelt greeting card — a small thank you for everything they do each day.

Kington Court is looking beautifully festive this Easter!

Our residents and staff have been getting creative together, decorating p***y willow branches with lovely Easter decorations to brighten up the home. It’s been wonderful to see everyone so involved, sharing ideas, stories, and conversations about the meaning and importance of Easter.

A fantastic few weeks of creativity, teamwork, and seasonal spirit.

Arts, crafts, and lovely conversation.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Easter-themed arts and crafts session, gathered around the table getting creative together. With music playing in the background, the room was full of laughter and chatter—especially as everyone reminisced about their favourite sweets from years gone by!

✨ Meet our Stars at Kington Court ✨

This March, we’re delighted to introduce two of our shining stars here at Kington Court.

First, meet Helen, one of our lovely residents, who has built wonderful friendships and built a great rapport with others around the home. Helen brings warmth and positivity to those around her, making her a valued part of our community.

We’d also like to introduce Wendy, our Lifestyle Co-ordinator, who joined us around six weeks ago. Wendy has already made a fantastic impact, bringing energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to activities and daily life at the home.

We’re so lucky to have both Helen and Wendy as part of the Kington Court family.

Nutrition & Hydration Week at Kington Court

Another great opportunity to enjoy our wonderful celebration cart as we continued marking Nutrition & Hydration Week!

Residents were treated to delicious homemade banana and raspberry smoothies—refreshing, nutritious, and a big hit all round.

We’re proud to be celebrating at Kington Court as we’ve once again been recognised as a Top 20 Care Home in the West Midlands for the Care Home Awards 2026!

Staff, residents, relatives, and Dr Mohammed all came together to mark this fantastic achievement.

There were plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed cupcakes, specially decorated to mark the occasion, and raised a cheer to our continued success.

It means so much to share this moment together, and we’re delighted to continue providing a home our residents can be proud of.
