Cuilcagh Climbing Do you want to get off the beaten track? We are an outdoor adventure company based in Co. Fermanagh. Guided Hillwalking being our speciality.

We provide you with a qualified and insured outdoor Mountain Leader with extensive knowledge of the Mountains. Abe is a Qualified Mountain Leader and a Walk Leader for the Fermanagh Ramblers & Hillwalkers. He has a great interest in the mountains, geology, flora and fauna. He and his keen walking partner Eimir, a Qualified Hill & Moorland Leader have most recently completed a trek to Everest Base Camp. "I love walking and climbing in new locations, somewhere new to me and somewhere challenging where I can put my navigation skills to the test. My favourite location for walking in Ireland is Connemara and in Britain it would have to be the Scottish Highlands, in particular Glencoe. Of course I can't forget to mention my local mountain - Cuilcagh. I will normally try to get up to the summit at least a couple of times per month and know it's topography extremely well"

If you fancy getting off the beaten track and summit unfamiliar Mountains in Ireland and Britain then drop me a message, thanks!

Saturday 14th Feb.
Nathalie, Andy and I had an outstanding day traversing the Aonach Eagach Ridge. A first ascent for Nat & Andy - great effort considering winter conditions ❄️

A first winter ascent for me, I've been fizzing at the thought of this since May 2024. The Talisker sat waiting for our return to the bunkhouse that afternoon as a wee celebratory dram for us three 🥃

The pictures will do the rest of the talking...

A full on week of some suffering in "The White Room" but there were more blue sky days than I'm making out 😆

Highland Guides and their Instructors created a full on itinerary each day for us with loads of additional Winter Mountaineering Coaching. Thanks to the Austrian Alpine Club (UK) for organising the event 💪🏼

Of course a couple of us stayed on for our own little adventure the day after 😉 🏔 (to follow)

And just like that, back to porridge for a while. Morzine ski trip over and out. Enjoyable skiing in some of most scenic locations I have witnessed.

A shortage of snow, like most of the Alps but a good dump has arrived and we did manage to get a morning in yesterday on some fresh powder. ❄️

Cheers to all the guys and their great company. You're all Rock Stars! 🙌🏼 🫶🏼 ⛷️ 🍻
