If you consider anxiety as normal, like "Everybody has it" or "It's part of life", then you'll miss the signals that your system tries so hard to send through anxiety.

What anxiety points you toward:

1. A HIGH DEGREE OF DISCONNECT from yourself, your truth, mind and body, and emotions. Anxiety tells you, "You've gone too far away from yourself".

When our sense of safety and who we are are sourced from the outside (other people's beliefs and needs, cultural beliefs, religion) that's disconnect and your system will let you know about this through anxiety, anger, frustration or panic.

2. A HIGH DEGREE OF MIS-ATTUNEMENT between what your system needs and how it is met and supported/ or not supported. It is often the case with mis-attuned choices and mis-attuned healing practices. "Anxiety tells you, You're not listening and acting in tune with our truth and needs!"
Anxiety is a reminder that you may be neglecting your needs, desires, capacity and boundaries. By attuning to your system, you can start to honor your authentic experience and align your actions with your truth.

3. A HIGH DEGREE OF ACCUMULATED TRAUMATIC STRESS AND EMOTIONAL CHARGE that dysregulates the system. Anxiety is your system saying, "We can't cope with this anymore". Dysregulation then becomes a new source of threat that reinforces the anxiety.

4. ALL OF THE ABOVE OR A SYSTEM IN FREEZE. A system (whole system) that is disconnected, mis-attuned and dysregulated. β It operates under minimum or no degree of resourcing safety from within.

To address anxiety is to address the core issue, not the symptom.
