Birthday Celebrations at Barons Park 🎂

Today here at Barons Park, we celebrated John’s birthday as he turned an amazing 94 years young!

John spent the day surrounded by fellow residents and his family, enjoying plenty of laughter and lots of birthday cake we believe he may have had more than one slice! 🍰

Not long after, Leanne received a second order request from one of our new resident John so off went Leanne, our amazing admin, to pick up McDonald’s for them both.

A huge congratulations to Tracey and her amazing team for taking part in the Prime Life IDDSI (modified diet) competition and winning for the 2nd time! and this time we won 1st and 2nd place🎉

Their winning entry was a delicious IDDSI Level 4 meal of Neapolitan Mousse with strawberry sauce, fresh cream.

Tracey and her team are passionate about creating high-quality, nutritious meals for all dietary needs, proving time and again that every plate can be both well-balanced and beautifully presented.

As a bonus, the home has also received £100 towards our Residents’ Social Fund 🎊

The residents at Barons Park had a fantastic day out on our recent yesterday bus trip! As many of you know, we were collecting donations for the homeless and thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to deliver over 30 bags to the meeting rooms in Hinckley. A huge thank you to everyone who donated. ❤️

Afterward, the residents enjoyed a lovely lunch at the pub, and to finish off the day, they took a tour of the local Christmas lights and even got to see Father Christmas himself! 🎅✨

Ronnie the Elf has been out and about in Barons Park this morning, spreading festive cheer! 🎄✨

He’s been putting big smiles on the faces of residents and staff and of course, handing out Christmas sweets for everyone to enjoy. 🍬🎅❤️
