Your neck is ageing faster than your face 😳

Your neck will often show signs of ageing before your face, and it’s usually for one simple reason, it’s neglected.

The skin on the neck is thinner, has fewer oil glands and is more vulnerable to collagen breakdown. Add in daily sun exposure, posture, and a lack of protection, and it’s one of the first areas to lose firmness and show lines.

Forever number nine ❤️

It’s with heavy hearts that we will be closing Number Nine on May 4th 2026. This hasn’t been an easy decision to make and it’s taken some time but we’re comfortable it’s the right one

Our lease ends in September this year but with the downturn in footfall and current Labour government doing everything they can to see small businesses like ours close everyday in the UK, we wanted to close the doors on our terms, on a high. It’s very rare in our industry that we’re fortunate enough to be in a position to close this way and we’re very grateful for that

To all of our staff past and present, thank you for everything you’ve added to the Number Nine journey and our little restaurant. To our current team, you’re all amazing! We’ve built a little family that’s quirky, funny, dedicated and most of all bloody brilliant. Ben, Beth, Charlotte, Isla, Evie, Dan, Rihanna, Alex and Joe. Thank you, we love you all and we’ll continue to support you as you have us ❤️

Number Nine as a business and the building will be coming up for lease with the potential to buy over the next few weeks. A sign will be going up but we will still be trading until May 4th so please continue to support us in this time (more to come on this)

Kirkby Lonsdale, it’s been a blast. We’ll miss all of our lovely regulars and we want to thank every single one of you that’s walked through our doors and supported us. For now we’re going to enjoy our last few weeks and rest assured our standards and usual Number Nine love will be there until the end.
