Ready to have a few quieter days before August ramps up. Not many memories were captured in July. A busy month behind a screen, trying to keep a bit of a routine going, gym, yoga, socialise, and getting outside. Sometimes, you have to catch yourself before the tipping point, and there's no balance at all.

Still Yoga
.. just not asana (the physical practice), there are many elements to Yoga that we don't often see or associate with Yoga. Maybe social media and marketing has a lot to do with that.

Practices of greater self-awareness, consciousness, compassion, connetion and guides to living more harmoniously with yourself, others, and nature.

I've been making Tuesday Evening's a weekly act of self care. After consistently attending Stength for 7 weeks, I've been building in a little habit of making the rest of the evening nourishing for me. It's not always the same but it has helped with recovery after being put through my paces , allowed me to switch off from work, social media, and all the external noise. We all need a bit of this!

Absolutely top-tier evening and sleep! You don't have to wait for a special occasion or the right time to look after you. Building in practices to be 1% better every day ๐Ÿ’š

A Saturday morning spent well, what a pleasure to be able to attend a class and the kick-off, for Grasmere's Yoga in the Park series - led this week by the lovely, smiley and passionate Holly.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to be outside, but the wet weather option is a pretty nice alternative.

Mental Health Awareness Week

One in four adults + one in five young people will experience a mental health problem each year. Therefore, it is likely that a quarter of the people you know have or will suffer with their mental health.

Practices and people I have been introduced to through Yoga has really helped my mental health over the years. Yoga by the Lune values community and part of why it exists is to create meaningful connections, learnings and experiences to empower you with the tools to support yourself and others, in a safe and caring environment for all.

This yearโ€™s focus for MHAW is celebrating the power + importance of community. And I am here to celebrate you! Thank you for showing up and for being you!

Being part of a community is vital for your overall wellbeing, it helps us thrive and feel supported. Itโ€™s a big reminder that we are not alone in the good times and the hard times. Providing a sense of belonging and purpose.

Let's hit the spring reset button! Practices to unwind for those restless, tired souls, overthinking minds or those in need of simply slowing down.

A chance to take a deeper breath and pause, in a world that moves faster than we can often keep up with. We sometimes forget that our bodies and minds arenโ€™t invisible, especially when we donโ€™t listen to the signals. Those subtle whispers of the body to re-align, slow down, release tension and unblock energy in the body. Come take a moment to tune in:

These practices will meet you where you are and allow the layers of holding to soften. Leaving you feeling restored and more like you.

About Claire

Claire is a yoga teacher, creative producer and marketing strategist. She initially started practicing yoga for mindfulness, as a form of therapy. The more she practiced yoga the more she realised that yoga was so much more; a path to physical and mental wellbeing. Wanting to further this journey, Claire travelled to India to study Ashtanga + Vinyasa at Sampoorna Yoga School.

Recently returning from life in London, with a passion to share wellbeing techniques. Claire hopes to bring a bit of balance and light into people's lives.

Down to earth and welcoming classes, offering creative and intuitive guided practices, sequenced to inspire all levels of students.
