I woke up feeling pretty lethargic with a dazed head-in-the-clouds kind of heaviness. After spending some time on my mat, my day literally flip reversed and after a wee spot of lunch I couldn't think of anything else I'd rather do than jump back onto my mat and keep on moving!
~
Practice, practice, practice - even when you think you don't want to! If your mind & body needs rest, take a yin or restorative approach. If you know you need to shake off some heaviness, start moving & let the breath carry energising life force energy into every cell of your being!
~
As long as you approach your practice with love and respect, Yoga will literally turn your frown upside down ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ™ƒ ๐Ÿฅฐ

Traditionally, this was achieved by following the teachings of vedantic philosophy which teaches the unity of all creation or oneness of consciousness. However, simple acts such as positive thinking and mindfulness can have a dramatic effect on our wellbeing!
Meditation can be difficult at first, but the benefits are vast. It's not easy, but persistance is key!
