#1 โ๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฃ ๐ผ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ค๐ (๐ธ๐ค๐๐๐) - Our physical bodies are designed to move and be active. The physical practice of Yoga is a holistic choice of movement as Asanas are designed to develop not only the body, but they broaden the mental & spiritual dimensions too!

#2 โ๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฃ ๐น๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ (โ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ช๐๐๐) - Proper breathing should be deep, slow & rhythmical. Yoga teaches us to breath in a way that allows us to use the lungs to their maximum capacity! Pranayama is a powerful too; it teaches us how to regulate the flow of vital life force energy (Prana) through the breath.

#4 โ๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฃ ๐ป๐๐๐ฅ (๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐/ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐ฅ ) - Traditionally, the yogis followed a strict veggie diet. However, by simply being conscious of our decisions when it comes to food we can make healthy choices that benefit our wellbeing. Think of the classic phrase: you are what you eat!

#5 โ๐ ๐ค๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ & ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ (๐๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ & ๐ป๐๐ช๐๐๐) - Yoga teaches us how to strive towards a serene mind. Traditionally, this was achieved by following the teachings of vedantic philosophy which teaches the unity of all creation or oneness of consciousness. However, simple acts such as positive thinking and mindfulness can have a dramatic effect on our wellbeing!
Meditation can be difficult at first, but the benefits are vast. It's not easy, but persistance is key!
