Reception Team Member

18 hours (Mon 9-6 + Thurs 9-7)

We are looking for an approachable, empathetic person to join our small business as a member of our reception team. You'll be the friendly, polite and efficient face of our reception; assisting and directing patients to access our services.

You'll be comfortable communicating in person, over the telephone and in writing. While you'll be able to manage your own workload, you'll understand that you are a key part of the team assisting our clinical staff and ensuring we can do our jobs efficiently and effectively.

Interested in progressing into a clinical role?

Then we may be able to support the right candidate with training and development into an appropriate clinical position in the business.

Our Associate Ryan has availability for home visits on Monday 26 September!

As you know, we haven't offered home visits for a long time.

Ryan recently offered to join us as an Associate to provide home visits, if there is enough demand to warrant us introducing the service. Ryan qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner 12 years ago, so brings a wealth of experience with him. He'll also have the backing of colleagues in clinic, should he encounter something that cannot be treated in a home setting.

If you are unable to get in to clinic or have a house bound relative in need of routine foot care, this may be for you!

We've, unfortunately, noticed the number of "no shows" increasing over the last few weeks.

It's completely understandable that people may be taking last minute holidays to take advantage of the weather, or just feel like it's too hot to go out.

However, please do let us know if you aren't going to keep your appointment.

We almost always have a wait list, so by not letting us know that you aren't coming, we can't offer the appointment to someone else who may be in pain and need to be seen urgently.

Every no show also costs us money. In the 45 minutes that you aren't here, we still have to pay the salary of the practitioner who is sat doing nothing, the receptionist's wage and the bills.

We send emails, texts and call everyone prior to their appointment to try and avoid this happening, but it seems to be becoming an issue again in the last few weeks :(
