Holiday Break-Up Day from Work 🎄✨

Dear work… it’s not you, it’s the holidays 😌

For a few precious days, we’re officially breaking up.

No emails.
No deadlines.
No “just one more thing before Christmas”.

Instead we’re choosing:

✨ slower mornings
✨ cosy walks
✨ moving our bodies because it feels good
✨ time with people who fill our cup

Rest is productive.
Switching off is powerful.
And you don’t need to earn this break.

Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients (makes ~8–10 cookies)

• 100g oat flour (or finely ground oats)
• 1 tsp ground ginger (or mixed spices)
• 50g coconut sugar or maple syrup
• 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
• 2 tbsp golden syrup or honey

Method
• Mix all ingredients into a sticky dough.
• Shape into small gingerbread men (or balls and flatten).
• Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 8–10 mins. Cool before eating.
• Optional to decorate your gingerbread men

✅ No eggs, no chilling, quick, and healthier.

Ingredients:
• 1 can cannellini beans
• 1 onion
• 2 garlic cloves
• 1 litre veg broth
• 1 handful kale
• Lemon zest

Instructions:
• Sauté onion & garlic.
• Add beans, broth, kale.
• Simmer 10–15 mins.

Feeling a little “meh” halfway through the month? You’re not failing — you’re human. Energy dips, motivation wobbles, and life gets busy… especially when you’re juggling work, family, hormones, and everything else.

Here’s your gentle reminder:

You do not need a new week, a new month, or January to feel better. You’re allowed to reset today.

One small choice can shift your mood:

• a short walk
• a glass of water
• an early night
• a stretch
• a deep breath without rushing

Tiny actions still count. Consistency is built from moments like these, not perfection.

Turkey & Veggie Winter Stew

Ingredients:
• 2 cups cooked turkey (or chicken)
• 1 carrot, diced
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 celery sticks, sliced
• 1 cup mushrooms
• 2 cups chicken stock
• ½ cup milk or coconut milk
• 1 tbsp flour or cornflour
• Thyme, salt & pepper

Instructions:
• Sauté onion, carrot, celery & mushrooms.
• Add turkey and stock. Simmer 10 minutes.
• Mix flour with a splash of milk, stir into pot.
• Add the rest of the milk and simmer until thick.
• Serve with fresh thyme.

Benefits:
✔ High protein for metabolism
✔ Gut-friendly veggies
✔ Comfort food without the heaviness
