Challenge complete!

The Action for A-T cycling team have made it to Bridlington and have raised £10,276 for Emilia's Endeavour doing it.

They should all be very proud of themselves. Even the sun has come out to congratulate them.

The work of research into Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T) is going to take a lot more support though, read more about it and donate using the following links.

Day 3, the final leg. The weather forecast was for a dryer sunnier day, but that’s not how it’s started out!
The Action for A-T riders are out for the remaining push over to Bridlington on the east coast, hopefully the chippy will still be open when they arrive.
It’s been a mammoth trek so far, in some truly awful weather, but all in aid of a great cause. To learn more about Emilia, Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T). and maybe help with a financial donation, please click the following link:

Day 2, and with a combined age of circa 330 years and extremely sore bottoms, the team press on to Pocklington. It’s around 90km and there is a weather warning for wind and rain.

The only things crazy enough to be out in the elements this morning are people committed to the Action for A-T charity bike ride and the livestock that don’t have any choice.

It’s all in aid of a great cause though. Click the link below to learn about Emilia’s story and why the guys are doing this to raise money for research into Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T).

We’re nearly at the fund raising target too, if you can spare a little, please help us get there!

The 272km Action for A-T Charity bike ride to Raise money for research is underway!

The Brightwake team have set off from Morecambe bay on the first leg to Pateley.

It’s 99km and a 1,471m climb, with storm Emma closing in on them. The weather is predicted to be heavy rain and high winds later making this even more arduous, so please check out the charity page and give generously if you can, all donations will be highly appreciated!
