Hi everyone, just a quick update.


The One Stop Shop will be closed the week commencing the 19th of July and will reopen on the 26th of July.

Whilst closed you can still call and email the team and they will get back to you as soon as possible once the One Stop Shop reopens on the 26th of July.

If you require support or guidance in the meantime, before the One Stop Shop reopens, then please contact our Communities Team who supports Scottish Autism's Advice Line. Details for the advice line are in poster provided.

Happy Autism Pride Day!!!
It is an autistic community event led by autistic people and an online event will be taking place online tomorrow organised by Autistic Pride Alliance.

We have a new Autism Advisor at the One Stop Shop.

Please join me in welcoming Graeme Leslie to the team.

Graeme joined the team in June 2021. Most recently, he has been working as a support worker directly with a family near Glasgow and prior to that was a support worker with Quarriers. In these roles he has worked with a number of people with Autism and related diagnoses, and has gained valuable insight into working closely with people with a variety of support needs.
Prior to social care, Graeme spent almost 10 years working in Management roles within the Private Pension and Investment Banking sectors, and it was here that he developed a real love for people.

He is looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities in the One Stop Shop and can’t wait to positively affect the lives of those around him.

We have a special guest booked in to be a speaker at our June Let's Talk meeting. Lorna Brown from Caritas Legal will be talking to us about guardianship and power of attorney.

We would like to open up this group to parents of children and adults.
