We are the first UK Optician to have the latest AI installed on our ZEISS Cirrus 6000 OCTA, marking the start of a new era for us after 16 years using conventional OCT scans. As well as being known for ZEISS bespoke spectacle lenses as unique as a fingerprint, we provide an extremely detailed enhanced eye test using ZEISS technology. Our new patients are regularly astounded by the detail we go into, these scans show the front of the eye with a shallow chamber and how this changes with cataract extraction improving drainage and depth. This and more goes into our detailed private cataract referrals to skilled Consultant Ophthalmologists for onward treatment, faster than available on the NHS.
We have been providing detailed OCT scans since 2009, the first to do so in Fife and leading the way with constant upgrades to our equipment, including the first ZEISS CIRRUS 6000 with artificial intelligence in the UK.
