Two of my favourite medicinal mushrooms. Safe, effective, non toxic and many clients have benefitted from them over the years.

You can buy toxic crap to eat, artifical sweeteners, UPFs, to***co, alcohol -.but they want to stop you having access to two safe remedies.

Novel? What would be novel is legislators promoting good health. Its not protecting anyone. Its restricting their choices.

More money in my swear box.

After a challenging year with three family bereavements I am taking an extended Festive Break. Putting it out there now because I am determined to have a restive festive.

Automated bookings will still work. The dispensary will be closed without exception from 18th December (cut off 1pm) til Thursday 8th January. So make sure and order enough herbs.

Its my time to look after me after looking after everybody else all year.

Its the annual Macmillan coffee morning in Milton of Balgonie on 27th September. Always loads of scrumptious home baking.

The borage is covered in honey bees this afternoon. I had thought about harvesting some borage and making tincture for clients in need of a gentle adrenal tonic. But I am going to leave it for the bees.

Pleased to see lots of pollinators out here today. Bumble bees, butterflies (cabbage white after me brassicas) and lots of honey bees too.

My garden isn't the tidiest buts its organic and absolutely full of life. A joy to behold.

Having your own herbs growing in the garden is a great way to enjoy fresh garden herbal teas. Can't beat a fresh brew of vibrant organic herbs. I picked up some plants from Potted Remedies last week, some are planted out, the rest on the to do list this weekend. Nice to support another local herb business.

Never a dull moment here between dispensing, unpacking orders, researching and consulting.

Carly the cockapoo is out in the consulting room waiting for clinic to start. She loves to be at "work" and takes her welcoming and escorting out after consultations role very seriously.

Today is mainly video link consults though.

So she will probably go find a shady spot in the garden at some point.

Lovely to have the door wide open. The pigeons are cooing, the birds are twittering and the sky is blue.

Perfect.

Its a bit blowy and didn't have my microphones as we were out for a walk. But just couldn't resist capturing this hawthorn. Never seen so many flowers.

So sorry for the noise of the wind, but you can make out what I am saying. Usually I would be miked up and no dark glasses, but hey what the heck!
