We've been keeping a secret!*

We are moving! Or, should I say, growing massively!

We are moving from our small shared office into our own property 🥹🫶

We have a lot of work to do but we are so excited to share our vision with you!

The property comes with a large reception area, three counselling rooms, a kitchen, and two toilets - with one being an accessible toilet.

This expansion gives us the opportunity to support our growing client base, as well as the scope for more student counselling and our own space to provide workshops.

We are moving on our first birthday, the 1st of May! Please keep an eye out for all the DIY breakdowns and updates 🥰

*We absolutely haven't, we've told everyone but you guys because we forgot

Cortisol is your body’s built-in alarm system.

In small doses, it helps you wake up, stay alert, and handle challenges. But when stress sticks around too long, cortisol can start to take a toll and you can find yourself having:

• Trouble sleeping or feeling "wired" at night
• Low energy and burnout during the day
• Increased anxiety or irritability
• Cravings for sugar or comfort foods
• Brain fog and poor concentration
• Weakened immune response

When this happens, your body is responding exactly how it was designed to under pressure.

Therapy can help teach your body and mind that it doesn’t have to stay on high alert all the time. The goal isn’t to eliminate stress, but to give your nervous system regular signals of safety: rest, movement, connection, and moments to slow down. Over time, this lowers baseline cortisol and helps your system feel more steady.

It makes sense that you avoid what feels overwhelming. But over time it can make you feel like your world has shrunk and it is never ending.

In the moment you feel a sense of relief, but it quietly reinforces the very fear or worry you’re trying to escape. Breaking the cycle starts with small, safe steps toward what feels hard.

Thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations are all connected. They are like different parts of the same conversation. When one shifts, the others follow.

Therapy helps you notice those links, so you can respond with more awareness instead of just reacting. Small shifts in understanding can create big changes in how you feel, both mentally and physically.

Disagreements are normal in life, however, the way we fight determines how the relationship moves forward - will it break or grow in strength.

Fair-fighting means:
Not attacking the person.
Not bringing up old wounds.
Not trying to "win".

Fair-fighting is a tool that helps you learn better ways to communicate with each other and getting to understand each other better. Healthy conflict focus on the issue and not the other person.
