If you or a family member lives with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), let's start to think about how to prepare for winter - and that includes making sure you have the right medication for your condition.
Asthma: if you're using a reliever or blue inhaler more than three times a week, or if you're experiencing night-time waking or coughing, get in touch with your GP practice and ask for a review.
COPD: if you are needing multiple courses of steroids or antibiotics, or if your breathing is stopping you getting out and about, a review at your GP practice might be able to help you too.

Due to clinical staff shortages there will be no doctor at Gatehouse Surgery this afternoon. Anyone requiring to be seen will be asked to attend Kirkcudbright.
