It's been a lovely week though, as usual, in the salon.
I couldn't be happier with how well my new Lymphatic Drainage Massage treatment is being received - thank you for all your positivity and support so far - I have also had quite a few new clients too so welcome to you all, it's been great to meet you!

I have brilliant news on some further training that I'm doing, plus news on new treatments - all of this will be revealed soon so make sure you are following to keep up with all things Drift!

I hope you're all making the most of the sunshine - don't forget to wear your SPF!

Here is what to expect from a Luxury Facial at Drift...

🟢 First, we start with a skin analysis during your consultation, helping me to select the products ideal for your skin type and concerns.

🟢 Then, we begin the double cleanse and Ozone steam to open the pores and remove any dirt and impurities.
With a clean canvas, the products can now pe*****te into the skin, improving their efficacy.

🟢 Gentle exfoliation removes any dead skin cells and debris

🟢 Followed by a selected mask, chosen specifically to target your skin concerns.

🟢 While your mask is on, unwind with a neck and shoulder massage to ease the muscles and relieve tension.

🟢 Once the mask is removed, a toning mist is applied, followed by a nourishing moisturiser.

🟢 A targeted serum is applied, chosen based on your skin type and concerns. As this soaks into the skin, you enjoy a lifting facial massage, utilising some gua sha techniques and encouraging lymphatic drainage.

🟢 Ice Globes are rolled carefully over the skin, helping to reduce swelling from water retention and inflammation. This can produce a gentle tightening sensation as the serum is locked in and pores begin to close.

🟢 To protect the skin, SPF50 is massaged into the skin in the final stage.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is not like any other massage technique. Do not expect deep tissue or kneading movements, instead a slow, smooth, gentle approach to direct excess fluid around your body to the main lymph nodes.

It's amazing how such a gentle process can leave you feeling so much lighter and brighter!

I am so happy with how popular my newest treatment is proving to be!

On this day last week, I was glamming up the gorgeous Sharon for her son's wedding.

For makeup, Sharon chose shimmery silvers with subtle slate grey smokiness, half strip-lashes (not too much/just enough to enhance her pretty eyes) and a sheer coverage foundation on her skin.

Finished off with a little flush to her cheeks, and a soft pink lip.

Hair was a boho/princess look with a touch of sparkles, the hair she said she'd always dreamed of!

I'd say this is the perfect glamorous-mother-of-the-groom look, wouldn't you?!

🟢 Massage lowers the body's stress hormone, cortisol.

🟢 Massage stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's own natural painkiller.

🟢 Dopamine and serotonin (aka 'happy hormones') are released during massages, helping to balance mood.

🟢 Regular massages can improve circulation throughout the body. This is great news for all the nutrients that your blood carries around you and gives all of your organs a boost!
