How often do you treat yourself?
I don't mean an extra biscuit with your cuppa kind of treat. I mean a proper bit of 'you' time, where you do something just for you, not the kids or the husband or the dog!

An hour with me, and a wonderfully relaxing massage will hit your reset button and help you feel fantastic! Get in touch for YOUR appointment!

Did you know that massage can be a huge help for headaches and migraines. What you thought was a stress headache or hormonal migraine could actually be another type of headache entirely!
Cervicogenic headaches may occur due to your posture while sitting or standing at work. If you’re a driver, carpenter, hairstylist, or someone who sits at a desk, you may unknowingly push your chin forward which moves your head out in front of your body. This is called cervical protraction. Sitting or standing in this position for long periods of time can put pressure or stress on the neck and base of the skull, triggering a cervicogenic headache.
Falling asleep in an awkward position (such as with your head too far to the front or back, or off to one side) can also cause these types of headaches. This can happen if you sleep in a chair or while sitting up in bed. A compressed or pinched nerve in or near the neck is another cause of cervicogenic headaches.
Massage can help to ease this pressure and tension, so why not book in!

What is sports massage anyway??
Why would someone choose this kind of athletic therapy when there are so many other kinds of massages available?

Activities such as athletic games, official sports, and intense exercise can be hard on the body. This means choosing the right kind of massage method for an active lifestyle and body.
The purpose of a deep tissue massage, for example, is to treat chronic pain and on-going tension. This might be beneficial in a very general sense, but sports massage therapy is specifically designed to support and enhance the performance, recovery, and relaxation of people (typically athletes) who are frequently and/or intensely physically active.

If you are wanting a massage to aid relaxation and general aches and pains, then my traditional massage therapy would be perfect for you

Do you or your partner go to the gym regularly?
Have you been experiencing sore muscles quite often? If yes, you might not be taking good care of your body. There are certain factors gym-goers and bodybuilders often happen to overlook. By training and working out, you are basically putting your muscles under a lot of stress. The muscles do develop, tone up and define your physique in a much better way, but they are certainly not in the best working order.
Massage can speed recovery, improve muscle tone and flexibility and much more.

If you want to make the most of your training routine then grab a massage inbetween sessions! Contact me for an appointment
