A few changes to services available

- due to understanding about the cost of living and remaining to want to support people in the community with their health and wellbeing I am pleased to announce we are able make a small reduction in prices

- home appointments are now £70 for full examination, consultation and removal of ear wax

-Appointment Availability for May and June:

Due to a change in my work hours I am now available Monday to Thursday evenings from 5pm

-when messaging for a booking it is very helpful to let me know where you live as this can make it quicker to allocate appointments. In order to make visits the most efficient I allocate certain days to certain areas if outwith Kirkwall

- I have had a few requests to establish a phone number and I am pleased to announce this will be available soon when I can order new business cards

⭐️👂 New June appointments discount promotion for all ages and ongoing future discount for ages over 65’s :

- £75 (£15 discount) for a full home visit appointment, ear assessment and consultation and full wax removal from both ears

-£120 (£20 discount) or £60per person for a full home visit appointment, ear health assessment and consultation and full ear wax removal for 2 people in one household - this can include a family or friend living in another household but the appointment will be in 1 home for 2 people reducing the cost to £60pp

-Add a hearing check and full hearing assessment and consultation for £10 extra per person at £10 discount pp

- £50 Children and young people’s home assessment, consultation and advice

- £70 for young persons full home visit, assessment and consultation and full ear wax removal (due to equipment available 12years and over dependant on assessment and consultation

Hello,

**Warning the below video is of ear wax suction removal and may not be suitable for certain viewers**

I have had lot’s of requests from those who enquire and clients about more of the process of ear wax removal and this includes lots of requests for videos of ear wax removal! Not something I thought of myself but since I have had so many requests I have put a very small clip of an appointment below (this is not the full treatment or full procedure and all wax as clinically appropriate was removed at the end of the appointment).

My camera and editing skills require plenty more practice but with permission of our kind volunteer who gave permission for this video to be used I have made this short video on a small part of the process of ear wax removal using the micro suction technique.

There is a lot of administration, training, practice and understanding of anatomy that goes on behind the scenes here and over 10 years of nursing experience.
