Today we’re celebrating older people as vital members of our Orkney community.

Staying connected and supported plays a big part in maintaining health and wellbeing as we age.

Let’s keep looking out for one another and remember to check in on older friends and neighbours.

Our Ministerial Annual Review will take place on Monday (6 October) and you're welcome to join us from 11.45am - 12.45pm.

This hour long session is a chance for you to hear an update on the Health Board’s performance and its plans for the future. The meeting will include a summary of how we did in 2024/25 against our priorities and national standards and will cover both our achievements and challenges.

The meeting will be led by our Interim Board Chair Davie Campbell, and attended by the Board’s Interim Chief Executive James Goodyear, Executive Team and wider Board members.

If you would like to attend, please head along to The Balfour on Monday 6 October ready to start at 11.45am. If you'd rather attend online, you can find the MS Teams link on our website here, https://www.ohb.scot.nhs.uk/nhs-orkneys-2024-25-ministerial-annual-review/
