Bwindi Community Hospital is a remote hospital in Uganda serving a population of over 120,000 people. One of our GPs, Dr Holly Tyson, spent a year working there in 2019/2020 and as a practice we continue to support the hospital’s charity, Reach Bwindi, with a monthly sponsorship. This goes towards the running of their chronic disease outpatient clinics and helps to provide essential care for the community.

‼️ North Ronaldsay Surgery phone line‼️

Please note that on Monday 20th or Tuesday 21st January between the hours of 10am-12noon the phone line at North Ronaldsay Surgery may not be available for a short time while work is being done on the line. If you are unable to get through to the surgery during this time please call The Balfour switchboard on 01856 888000 and ask to be put through to the ANP on the surgery’s mobile number. This will only be for a short period of time and we hope will not cause too much disruption for patients.
