⭐️ Celebrating 40+ Years of Service! ⭐️

Morag is probably best known as being the “face” of Maternity & is one of our most long standing members of the team.

Her sense of humour, knowledge and general Morag-isms make her a diamond colleague 🥰
Well known for getting women do the hens march over the mideen to get folk into labour & a personal team favourite; in the old hospital, pulling the tap off the bidet, water hitting the roof, flooding the place & having to get an emergency plumber in at 2am!

It’s always a pleasure to work with Morag. Full of fun & laughter. Congratulations on reaching this special milestone in your career 🩷

It's show week! Great news if you are planning to visit the Dounby Show this Thursday. The Orkney West Mainland Agricultural Society have signed up to the Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland Scheme!! The Committee (pictured below) are committed to the show being family friendly and will have a designated area for parents and children to relax whilst visiting the show.

Keep an eye out for this “Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland” sticker when you’re out and about – it lets you know that businesses and organisations will make an extra effort to look after and welcome breastfeeding parents. You can also find breastfeeding friendly venues near you using the interactive map here -
