Drawn from the Tarot of the Abyss.

My least liked Tarot card as it always seems to mock any reading it appears in.

That said! The Sun card has it uses, of course, though I feel we're going a little off course with the mocking. Anyway.

Strictly speaking, the Sun card brings with it a message of hope over loss. A card of brilliant light we often take for granted until the darkness surrounds us.
Use today's card for someone else, surround them with light, love, and hope. It may be the one thing that brings a smile.

6 Pentacles. Drawn from the Tarot of the Abyss deck.

Keep your coins, I want change!!

The money changing hands or being foisted upon the supposed beggar only solves one issue, the consolation of the giver.

We assume the worst so 'dig deep' to alleviate the problem, often causing more.

I've been homeless on and off for years, money, coins, notes, they buy stuff, once received you're still there, waiting, wishing, hoping for a conversation, a hello or a smile to warm up the day.

The 6 Pentacles looks at fortune and famine, both so closely linked.

My message is to help, speak, understand, ask before giving, save a life.

Let's assume you're strong enough to withstand the rigours of change and disaster, not withstanding that you can trace your journey to the minute, experience, legacy, and good fortune, this should be a doddle.

It's not the cash you spend today nor the well planned out investments that will pave the road ahead, but your selfless acts of kindness and concern for others and their journey. A conversation you'll term as unimportant may have the opposite effect, so be humble and listen as you share any wisdom. It's not love (at least not physical) they crave, but a caring, empathetic soul willing to listen and be heard.

The Hermit.
Might be the storm, might be the way I'm feeling currently, or a number of factors, but today can politely do one.

The Hermit, often portrayed as a mad person, dismissed by society, more often relinquishing thier part in it and choosing to live alone in the shadows away from the society that shunned them.

No one will read this, so like the Hermit, this can be a reminder rather than a klaxon.
