STOP skipping the basics. 👊

Daily banded terminal knee extensions (TKEs) are one of the simplest but most effective exercises for knee health, rehab and performance.

Why? Because strong quads matter. A LOT.

✅ Improve knee stability
✅ Help reduce pain
✅ Restore full knee extension
✅ Improve walking, running & jumping mechanics
✅ Support ACL, patella tendon & meniscus rehab
✅ Build confidence loading the knee again

The quads act like shock absorbers for the knee. If they’re weak, everything else works harder.

Football isn’t just about being fit.

It’s about producing force FAST.

Plyometrics help improve:

Gym work in sport isn’t just about making exercises look “sport specific” 👀

Too many athletes think performance training means adding a band, wobble board or ball to every movement.

But look at the top level… even elite players from Manchester City F.C. are still hammering the basics:
🏋️ Compound lifts
🏋️ Strength work
🏋️ Power development
🏋️ Robustness through load

Why? Because the goal is to build a BETTER ATHLETE.

A stronger athlete:
✅ Produces more force
✅ Tolerates more load
✅ Moves more efficiently
✅ Reduces injury risk
✅ Performs at a higher intensity for longer

Sport specificity comes from the sport itself.
The gym is there to build the engine behind it.
Don’t overcomplicate strength training.

Master the fundamentals. Load them well. Get stronger. Become harder to break. 💪⚽

Shoulder rehab shouldn’t stop when it becomes “less painful.”

A lot of people rest, avoid movement, then jump straight back into training… only for the pain to return.

Good shoulder rehab should improve:

strength
stability
control
mobility
load tolerance

Your shoulder needs more than stretching and band work.

It needs progressive loading.
It needs movement through range.
It needs strength overhead.
It needs confidence under pressure.

Whether it’s gym training, CrossFit, rugby, golf or day-to-day work — your shoulder has to tolerate force repeatedly.

Pain settling is just one stage.
Building resilience is what keeps you training long term. 💪

Rehab isn’t just about getting pain free.

It’s about getting back stronger.

Too many athletes stop rehab when the pain settles.

But being pain free doesn’t mean you’re ready to perform.

Good rehab should leave you:

fitter
more confident
