The Beech House team from last Saturday's vaccine clinic. A huge thank you to all our patients - we have vaccinated hundreds of patients over the last couple of Saturdays and everyone who attended was cheerful and friendly which made it a pleasure to be at work on a weekend! 😀

You can now self refer, if you are eligible, to the service for the use of Mounjaro for weight management.

Once you have self referred they will triage you and then transfer the initiation and management of the medication to a local community pharmacy (your local 'chemist')

⚠️ Important Update – Covid Vaccine Eligibility

Please be aware that the eligibility criteria for the Covid vaccine this season have changed.
If you are eligible, it will be offered to you at the same time as your flu vaccination.

💉 Who can have the Covid vaccine?

Adults aged 75 and over.

Residents in care homes for older adults.

Immunosuppressed individuals aged 6 months and above (please note: eligibility depends on very specific criteria and does not include the same cohort of patients as the flu vaccine – our team will check this for you).

When you find out you are pregnant, you can refer yourself for NHS pregnancy care so you start care with a midwife right away.
Once you sign up online, the maternity team will contact you to book your first appointment with a midwife.
You should do this by the 10th week of pregnancy, if possible, but it’s never too late to start. If you're over 10 weeks, refer yourself as soon as you can.
