Exercise and Wellbeing
Hey you lovely lot. Welcome!! I thought it might be best to share a little about this creation with you. I’m Emma. I am a wife. I am a mum. I am a daughter, sister, friend, and I have a busy life. Did I mention I am Emma? It’s important to always remember that my main role in life is to be me, to look after myself. To be myself. To LOVE myself. Why? Because if my main job is neglected, it affects everything else. My mood drops, my thoughts get muddled, and my self-esteem feels low. All of these negative affects then show in all of my other roles, and other people feel them too. So what can I do to stop it from happening? I have some good old “Me” time, and I use the natural feel-good chemicals in my brain to do the rest. How do I get them to do that? I dance!! I love music; I love to sing to it, I love to feel it, and I love to move to it. It makes me feel great after a good dance, and although I can’t see the chemical reaction in my brain, I can see the smile on my face through the mirror.
In my work role, I am a psychologist. I work with people every day, and I often hear people tell me that they would love to be able to go to a class. But they are scared. Scared of looking like they don’t belong. Scared of looking odd, or silly. Scared of feeling like an outcast. Scared because they can’t dance. Scared because they feel “fat” or out of shape. These people live with “What Ifs?” or feelings of being inferior to others. This class is specifically designed to show each member that they are just a valued as the next person, and that they are truly beautiful. My job is to show you. I want to bring out the smiles, the excitement, the rush of loving life and being genuinely happy with who you are. My job is to make you fall in love, and stay in love, with YOU!!
