We all enjoyed a few games of shuffleboard this afternoon 😄

It helped to keep us warm on this chilly day 🥶

We even saw three little deer 🦌 running through the garden 😮😁

John was the outright winner 🥇 with Joyce just missing out by 1 👏

🪩 🕺🏻 SILENT DISCO 🕺🏻 🪩

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming the wonderful Pete Goldup - The Silent Disco DJ to Bilton Hall and what a fantastic afternoon was had by all 😀

Everyone enjoyed the bright disco lights, funky glasses as well as pom poms to shake around whilst they enjoyed their own little dance bubble 🫧

We weren’t the best at singing together in unison and our pitches were a little off 🙊 but what a laugh we had!

What a fabulous experience and we can’t wait to welcome Pete back soon 🕺🏻

😁😀 FRIDAY FUN 😁😀

Bingo is a Friday favourite here at Bilton, and we have missed the competitive laughter of this classic game which many of us love ❤️

Mave was our first winner of the day.. for her first time at the bingo table! Well done Mave 👏🏻

Joyce was the second winner who chose some gigantic chocolate buttons as her prize yummy!

Gillian got the giggles whilst we had a quick pit stop for a cuppa and a sweet treat 🤭

Eddie had a go at calling the bingo numbers.. but we will leave this to Jill 😜

🧁☕️ COFFEE, CHATS AND CAKE 🧁☕️

When staying with us here at Bilton Hall, our residents are treated to home baked delicious treats provided by our wonderful kitchen team.

Within our day to day here at Bilton, the kitchen team spend time with each resident to find out more about their favourite food, sweet treats and drink choices and this is how we design our menus. 🫖🍰 🍽️

Sweet treats and home baked delicious cakes are available on our beverage carts which go around the house- perfect opportunity for those one on one chats and to see those smiles and happy faces😊

Today’s choice was a sweet vanilla sponge cake with powdered sugar for that extra sweet indulgence 🧁

Did someone say Thursday morning Dominoes? 👀

This morning we woke with our competitive heads on and fancied a game or two of Dominoes!

We like to keep our cognitive functions busy and dominoes helps to strengthen this by creating problem solving and strategic thinking. Hand eye coordination and concentration are also paramount for this game!
