We love that the Storehouse Kitchen is doing this for those on their own for Christmas Day 🎄🎅🏻. Whilst Christmas is a wonderful time of year for most we know it can be a really lonely time for some.

CHRISTMAS MORNING GET TOGETHER 10AM - MIDDAY

Do you know of someone who might be alone this Christmas? Or maybe it’s you.

It is the most wonderful time of the year. But for some the hardest. We are very fortunate to have wonderful parents, Step Parents, siblings and three amazing children. However we are very aware this is a fortunate position to be in.

We are a blended family and Santa goes to the other Mummy and Daddy's for the SHK babies to open their presents and we often have a bacon butty and a brew as we wait for them to join us. So we thought we would extend the invite to those who might also find themselves a little lost and alone on Christmas morning.

On Christmas day we will be opening our doors for a couple of hours to have a little get together for those who don’t have anyone to share Christmas with. Kirsty will be making the coffees, I will be making the bacon sandwiches, Nannie Sal (Mum) will have made the mince pies and the Christmas songs will be playing and we can have a little get together. Kirsty might even sing jingle bells.

We are a new business so if you do want something a little livelier than a brew or a fresh juice we will have our bar open but sadly we can't give this away (im sorry if money wasn't real you could have the lot for me)

So now I have rambled on after a few after work beers with the team i would love it if you could share this far and wide so nobody has to spend Christmas morning alone. Warning - I am a hugger, I love Christmas and can't wait to hopefully spread some joy and share some butties

🎄✨ Festive Shenanigans at Elderflower Care Services! ✨🎄

Our carers have officially entered their “powered by mince pies and questionable Christmas playlists” era and honestly, the Christmas spirit is getting slightly out of hand. 😂

This week alone we’ve had:
• Tinsel battles (carers 0, tinsel 1)
• Clients out-posing the carers in every photo
• More Christmas jumpers than we were prepared for
• And some truly questionable singing coming from the office… (We won’t name names, but you know who you are. 🎤😅)

Huge shout-out to our amazing team for bringing the cheer, the chaos and the magic even if we’ll be finding glitter in strange places until April.

We’re so pleased to share that Henry is coming back to us full time in a couple of weeks 🙌

When Henry went part time we were all pretty gutted, so we’re absolutely delighted to welcome him back full time! He’s a real asset to the Elderflower Care Services team, and the news has been met with big smiles all round! both staff and clients are thrilled to have him back more hours 🤩.

🌼 Live-in Carer Wanted – Castle Howard area🌼

We’re looking for a Live-in Carer to work Friday to Tuesday on a rolling rota supporting a lovely client in the Castle Howard area.

🚗 Must be 25+, a confident driver, and able to drive the clients large fleet vehicle for appointments/ social trips.

We’ve been getting into the spooky spirit this week with our lovely clients plenty of laughter, treats (no tricks!), and some brilliant costume ideas!

One of our ladies said she’s dressing up as an Eskimo so she can keep warm 🧣🧤, while another told us she doesn’t need to dress up because she’s scary enough already! 😄💀
