Dementia Carer's Self-Support Group- Tonight at 7pm

Just a reminder that our self-support group is meeting this evening from 7-8pm at 100a Knaresborough road, Harrogate, HG2 7NN.

This group is open to all carers- whether you're a partner, son, daughter, friend, or any other family member, you're warmly invited to join us.💙

It's a relaxed, understanding space to share experiences and coping strategies, talk openly, and connect with others in similar situations.

Please do give us a quick call beforehand if you would like to come so we numbers- we'd love to welcome you.

Last Friday, the lovely group at our Ripon day club enjoyed a lovely morning of flower arranging- and just look at the creations they made!💐

🏉A Special Yorkshire Day at Headingley Stadium🏉

To celebrate Yorkshire Day, members of our dementia day clubs enjoyed a brilliant visit to AMT Headingley Stadium, thanks to our fantastic partners at the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

A huge thank you to Ed and Harry for giving us a behind-the-scenes tour of where the Rhinos play-from the changing rooms to the stands, it was a truly special experience. The visit sparked memories, smiles and plenty of conversation.

It's day like this that show the power of sport, shared memories, and Yorkshire pride can bring people together in the most meaningful way.

We're proud to work in partnership with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation to create welcoming, dementia-friendly spaces where people can connect and feel part of something special.💙💛

🎉🍰🧀Happy National Cheesecake Day!

Our members at both Harrogate and Ripon day clubs got creative in the kitchen today-and the results were amazing.

At Ripon we whipped up a lemon and chocolate cheesecake, and over at Harrogate we went fruity with a strawberry cheesecake. Both looked fantastic and tasted absolutely delicious!
