Our final winner spotlight is on the amazing Stars of Stars – Home Care Winner, Nicola Aves from Hull.

For Nicola, care isn't a job, it's a vocation. She feels like she's visiting her grandparents, ready to help.

Nicola was nominated for her incredible kindness and compassion towards a previous customer with dementia. They loved singing Elvis together, which helped keep her calm.

Inspired by her own grandmother, Nicola wanted to give something back – and she absolutely does! Thank you, Nicola.

Our next SARAs spotlight is on the incredible Palliative Care/End of Life Care – Home Care Winner, Kristina James from Darlington!

Kristina articulated perfectly what great end-of-life care looks like, always respecting customer wishes for comfort, peace and pain relief.

She's unafraid to challenge others, even badgering a GP to attend a customer who was at end of life. As our judges said, if you ever need end-of-life care at home, you'd want Kristina there.

Christina is a true "feeder" - looking after everyone with her passion for people and homecooked food. When a colleague faced mental health struggles, Christina made her an activity pack to keep her mind busy! Her true passion lies in successfully supporting palliative care customers to return home.

As she says, she's 'damn good at what she does,' and it's a privilege to support others. Christina, you're an inspiration!
