Myself, as well as many others are someone who carries the burden of World issues on my shoulders.

I worry about things that I cannot control, and often think of the absolute worst when it comes to the World conflicts.

Trying to control the future steals peace from the present, and I realised this when I become more sensitive to the negativity that was occurring in the world; and wanting to help, which sometimes took away the positives from the happy moments with friends, family- and things I was looking forward too.

I wanted to share these simple but effective affirmations on how you can control your own fears and emotions - as I know they have really helped me. 👏🏽

Anastasia is back in the building!

Baby’s cute, but I’ve missed you all even more 😉
I’m back from maternity leave on March 5th, and appointments are now open — who’s first? 💚

I’ll be available Thursdays from 10am to 5:30pm, performing all treatments. If a time doesn’t suit you, please get in touch, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Over the past months, I’ve worked incredibly hard to build a strong, high-performing team to support the wonderful Emily (who many of you already know and love).
Although I’ll be away for a few months to begin this new chapter with my growing family, Palm Holistics will still be here for you. My hope is that our lovely existing clients continue visiting the salon, getting to know the team, and trusting the amazing skills they bring
Here’s a little introduction to our fabulous team during my absence:
* Paula - in the salon 3 days a week + 2 Saturdays a month, offering all nail services and pedicures, including builder gell & gel extensions.
• Victoria - available Wednesday & Thursday evenings (6-9pm), offering massage, scalp treatments, Reiki, and reflexology.
Emily - offering a full range of treatments including beauty, Medik8 facials and massage at a full-time basis
Amelia - our builder gel nails specialist every Monday.
We’ve carefully structured the diary so the salon will be open 6 days a week, including 4 late evenings, to make sure we can still accommodate as many clients as possible.
Now, for the emotional part
For the past 4 years, l’ve poured so much dedication into building the most wonderful client base. Many of you followed me from my tiny salon in Knebworth high street to where I am now and I still pinch myself asking my self why. And although you might think
“Anastasia won’t remember me,” please know that you’re wrong - I truly remember and appreciate every single client. Whether you’ve visited once, returned often, left a kind review, recommended us to others, or simply given me a chance - you’ve made such a difference to my business. From the bottom of my heart, thank you a million times.
I’ve formed incredible bonds with so many of you, and many clients now feel more like friends. That’s why stepping away for maternity leave feels so daunting - because I’ll miss seeing you all. My biggest hope is that when I return, you’ll still be here waiting for me. That would mean the absolute world. I will be taking a few months off and will be returning back but you will all be updated With love and gratitude,

We’re so excited to welcome Paula, our new nail technician, to the team! ☺️

She specialises in builder gel, stunning nail art, gel extensions, and pedicures. Paula will be available every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-5pm, Thursday from 11am-6pm, as well as two Saturdays a month.

4 years of gratitude 💚💚💚💚 please read

As I celebrate 4 years since opening the salon, I just want to take a moment to say the biggest thank you — from the bottom of my heart — to all of you who have supported me along the way. Whether you’ve been with me from the beginning in my tiny little first salon or you’ve only just found us, your loyalty, kindness, and trust mean more than I could ever put into words. You’ve helped me grow this little dream into something I’m so proud of. 🥹

This past year has felt like a real turning point. With the amazing Emily and Amelia now part of the team, the business has grown beyond just me and I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for them. They’ve brought so much passion and warmth to the salon and have become such an important part of this journey. Going from doing it all myself struggling to fit everyone in to building a team has been overwhelming in the best way. Thank you girls!

And on a personal note — I’m so excited (and slightly emotional!) to share that I’m over 6 months pregnant. I’ll be heading off on maternity leave in October, so if you’d like to book in with me before then, now’s the time to book in beauty treatments. But rest assured, you’ll still be in wonderful hands — Emily will be here full-time, and we’ll also be welcoming another fully trained professional to the team very soon as well as being open 4 late days a week.
