Residents at Tabley House enjoyed a delightful afternoon flower arranging session outside the new deck in the gardens, which provides ample space for more wheelchairs, allowing residents to also enjoy the sunshine.

This week our wonderful residents had a fantastic time commemorating VE Day.

The celebrations included:
🖌️ Creative arts and crafts sessions
🕛 Observing the traditional two-minute silence
🍰 A delightful afternoon tea with cakes from Tabley Tea Rooms
🎶 Joyful singalongs that had everyone joining in!

From everyone at Tabley House, we hope you all had a good Easter weekend.

The residents took part in an array of different activities leading up to the weekend, from an Easter-themed bingo, Easter arts and crafts where residents made their own decorative bonnets, and on the Thursday we had a visit from Dan, June & Friends who brought joy to our afternoon with an array of different songs up their sleeves!

Residents and staff at Tabley House Nursing Home hosted a visit for their local MP, Esther McVey, last week.

Esther said: “It was a real pleasure to visit Tabley House Nursing Home and spend time with the wonderful residents and dedicated staff.

“The warmth and sense of community within the home was immediately clear, and it was heartening to see the high standard of care being provided in such a beautiful, historic setting.

Residents and staff at Tabley House Nursing Home hosted a visit from Esther McVey, the Conservative MP for Tatton.

Last week, the residents received a visit from their favourite accordionist, Robert Burton Accordion, who entertained the residents with a variety of different songs we all know and love!

This week, animal keeper Stephen from Zoo2U visited the residents to provide an interactive, educational session on the animals that they look after, from owls to snakes. Some even got the chance to hold the animals brought in by Stephen!

Overall, the residents absolutely loved the experience, and even the members of staff couldn’t help but have a look in at the session.
