Are you a facilitator, creative, practitioner or tutor who loves working with people and believes in accessible, community-led spaces?
Our Creative Hub in Knutsford is now welcoming expressions of interest from workshop facilitators who would like to run sessions with us across wellbeing, creativity, learning and connection.
We are a non-profit, trauma-informed space rooted in care, inclusion and real human connection. Everything that happens here is shaped around the people who walk through our doors, from children and young people to adults and families.
We are especially keen to hear from facilitators offering
• Creative workshops such as art, music, writing, craft or movement
• Wellbeing and self-care sessions
• Skills-based workshops such as coding, life skills or confidence building
• Group spaces that are gentle, inclusive and supportive
What we offer
• A welcoming, well-resourced Creative Hub
• Promotion through our website and social channels
• Simple, transparent partnership rates that cover room hire, utilities, admin and promotion
• A per-person contribution that directly supports funded counselling sessions for the community
• A values-led partnership with a multi-award-winning non-profit organisation
What matters to us
• Sessions must remain accessible and fairly priced
• You bring warmth, professionalism and respect for lived experience
• You are open to working within safeguarding and trauma-informed boundaries
• You understand that while we support promotion, attendance cannot be guaranteed
If you are someone who cares deeply about people, community and doing things with heart, we would love to hear from you.

We can finally share a little secret we’ve been holding close.....

This February, we’ll be opening the doors to our new Community Creative Hub.

It’s a space shaped by connection. A place to come together, learn new skills, share what you love, and spend time with others in a way that feels safe, welcoming, and human. Whether that’s through creativity, conversation, movement, or something quietly thoughtful, this hub is about people being with people.

We believe creativity and learning sit at the heart of wellbeing. When we make space to connect, confidence grows, isolation eases, and community starts to feel possible again.

As we prepare to open, we’re inviting anyone who would like to hold a workshop to get in touch. This could be art, music, crafts, writing, wellbeing, life skills, or something entirely your own. If you have something to share and a gentle, inclusive way of holding space, we would love to hear from you.

Please email Contact@stable-minds.co.uk with a little about your idea.

More details coming very soon. We can’t wait to welcome you in.

We are really proud to share something new with our community.

Thanks to funding from Manchester Airport , we have opened a dedicated gaming suite at Stable Minds Childrens centre. This space allows us to offer therapeutic support through gaming, meeting children and young people in a world that already feels familiar and safe to them.

Since lockdown, we have seen a significant rise in social anxiety among children and young people. For many of the young people we support, gaming has been one of the few places where they have felt connected, confident and understood. It has come up again and again in conversations with families and young people themselves.

As always, we have listened.

This gaming suite is not about screens for the sake of it. It is about using gaming as a bridge. A gentle first step into support for those who may find traditional counselling overwhelming or inaccessible. Through guided gaming sessions, our practitioners can build trust, explore emotions, support regulation, and gradually help young people develop confidence both online and offline.

We hope this will be a meaningful intervention for children and young people who struggle to walk through the door, but are ready to connect in their own way. It is another way we are meeting young people where they are, not asking them to fit into a system that does not work for them.

Thank you to Manchester Airport for believing in this work, and to our community for continuing to shape the services we offer. We cannot wait to see the impact this space will have. 💙

Home-Ed Families… we’d love your input

We’re teaming up with Grateful Financials to bring a series of practical financial workshops to Stable Minds. These sessions will be created especially for home-educating families, offering guidance around budgeting, planning and feeling more confident with money.

Before we launch anything, we want to understand what you actually need.

This is a invitation to help us shape something truly helpful for your family and our wider community.

If you’re interested, please take a moment to register and answer a few questions. Your feedback will guide how these workshops look, when they run and what they cover.

🚨 Important Update from Stable Minds🚨

Our original Instagram pages were recently hacked and permanently suspended, which means we’ve sadly lost access to years of memories, updates and community connections.

But we’re starting fresh — and stronger — with one new joint page for both our children & young people’s centre and our adult services.

👉 Please follow to stay connected, see our latest projects and continue being part of the Stable Minds community.

Every follow, share and tag helps us rebuild what we’ve lost. Thank you for always standing beside us.

With warmth,
The Stable Minds Team

We were invited to meet the High Sheriff of Cheshire, the amazing donors who had funded us through a grant earlier this year, and Helen from the to talk all things Stable Minds. Sitting there and sharing our story was emotional. It reminded me how far we’ve come and just how many lives have been touched along the way.

We spoke about where it all began ..with a girl, a rainbow umbrella and a plan to make mental health support feel human again. To see that small act of kindness grow into two community hubs, an outreach service and a team who give everything they have to help others was really special.

It felt amazing to talk about what’s next too, and the exciting projects we have moving forward to make mental health support even more accessible for the people who need it most.

I left feeling proud, a little teary and incredibly grateful. Grateful for the belief others have shown in us, and for every single person who continues to walk beside us on this journey.

A huge thank you to Helen and the team at the Cheshire Community Foundation, and to the donors who have supported Stable Minds — your kindness and belief in what we do truly makes a difference.
