Out walking in Chester today and this view really caught my eye. There wasn’t anything dramatic happening, just beautiful light coming through the archway and people quietly getting on with their day, but it felt like one of those moments that makes you slow down without even realising you’ve done it.
I think we spend so much of our time thinking about what’s next, what needs doing, what hasn’t been done yet, that we forget to really notice where we are. Standing there for a minute, watching the light change and everyone passing through, just reminded me how grounding it can be to pause and actually take things in.
Nothing extraordinary, just a simple reminder that sometimes being present is enough. ✨
