Changes at Vivré – Please Read 🤍
Good evening everyone,
I wanted to share a little update about some changes happening at Vivré over the coming weeks and months.
Like many small businesses, I’ve been feeling the impact of rising costs — increased bills, parking fees, insurance, supplier price rises and booking platform charges. After reviewing my finances recently, I was honestly shocked to see how much commission was being taken through online booking apps. In one day alone, over £100 was deducted from just one new client booking through the app.
For a large company, that may not feel significant. But for a small, independent business like mine, it really does add up and makes it much harder to keep going.
As many of you know, I’ve run Vivré for over 12 years. Some of you have been with me since my shop in Goostrey 10 years ago, and your loyalty means the world to me. I moved to Knutsford two and a half years ago into a beautiful clinic space, but parking proved difficult for many of you.
I have always loved what I do.
I care deeply about my clients and the treatments I provide. But behind the scenes, I am not a large company — I am one person, running a business while also being a single parent to young children who need me present and involved in their lives.
Balancing both roles is something I am incredibly proud of, but it also means I have to make sustainable decisions to help me and my family as well as continuing to provide support to those who need my treatments.
With that in mind, Vivré will be relocating to a new base at Escape Spa in Marton. It isn’t too far away, and I truly hope you’ll continue to visit me there. It’s a beautiful spa and free parking as well as other independent businesses on site ! It’s a little gem for sure.
